The location for the new Department of Licensing in Seattle underwent a major transformation under the expertise of Coast Construction Group. The project began with a complete demolition of the existing interior, making way for a remodel tailored to meet the department’s specific needs. This extensive renovation included the installation of new metal framing to support the modernized layout and ensure structural integrity, as well as plumbing upgrades.

Spanning roughly 7,000 square feet, the newly remodeled facility now houses a variety of functional spaces designed for efficiency. The lobby and waiting room were constructed to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors. A dedicated knowledge testing space was created to facilitate licensing exams, while the lounge area offers a relaxing space for both visitors and staff. The facility also includes an IT room, ensuring that the department’s technological needs are met with a dedicated and secure space.

To support the daily operations and administrative functions, Coast developed six new offices, a conference room for meetings and collaborations, and a fully-equipped kitchen and break room for staff. These additions have significantly enhanced the working environment, promoting productivity and well-being among the department’s employees. The remodel of the Department of Licensing in Seattle stands as a testament to Coast Construction Group’s ability to deliver comprehensive, high-quality renovations that cater to the unique needs of its clients.
