Cerro Coso Community College | Tehachapi Campus
Coast Construction Group is developing a new Tehachapi campus for Cerro Coso Community College, part of the Kern Community College District — a 7-acre, ground-up build that adds four new modular classroom buildings totaling 18,855 square feet to support the college’s growth. The scope spans full site landscaping, new civil utilities (domestic water, sewer, and storm drain), new electrical service, a 90-space lighted parking lot, ADA concrete walkways to every classroom building, vehicle access gates and pedestrian fencing, and an exterior perimeter CMU block wall.
The project also includes off-site street improvements along Tehachapi Boulevard and future building pad preparation — fine grading and utility points of connection — setting the stage for the campus’s continued expansion.
