This is Dale and Harold Stevens. With a singular guiding vision and hard work, they started Stevens Construction in 1965. But they were more than craftsmen.
They were the architects of high standards, values, and practices. Their focus on delivering quality work and building strong client relationships paved the way for what became Coast Construction Group.

Driven by growth, development, and ambition, Stevens Construction completes its new office. Still standing today, the building grew to be far more than walls and doors. Standing through the years as a testament to the company’s foresight and dedication to expansion, the office ushered in a new era of stability.
1980s
A NEW LEADER
Times of transition cannot always be expected, and trials by fire often create strong leaders. After Dale became ill, Harold stepped up when the company needed him and took a more prominent leadership role.
His seamless management of critical projects like the Edwards Air Force Base commissary was instrumental in steering the company through this transition. Where some might falter, the company used this chance to reinforce its resilience and adaptability.
EARLY YEARS
Trevor Gaskin developed his construction skills in everything from dirt work to finish carpentry. He started with his father’s company at a young age and proved himself to be a dedicated employee willing to do the heavy lifting.
Then came the pivotal moment his career intersected with Stevens Construction. This moment shaped his future role in leading Coast Construction Group.

LIFELONG PARTNERSHIPS
When Trevor Gaskin married Angela Stevens, a lifelong partnership formed that spans further than the trusses across everything we’ve ever built. Trevor was simultaneously navigating numerous opportunities while working for himself. Intense but coordinated collaboration across different projects during this period enriched his skill set and deepened his understanding of construction.

Perfecting the balance of high-quality, well-designed, full-service construction solutions was the focus when Trevor Gaskin finally established Coast Construction Group.
After repositioning himself in a move from California to north of Seattle, Trevor seized the opportunity to bring his rich experience in the industry to an area in need of his reliable and efficient methods.
2010s
A HISTORIC SYMBOL
Establishing firm roots in the community was natural as Coast Construction Group sought to do more than open an office. Preserving local heritage and bringing value to the areas they serve, guided Coast to purchase and renovate a historic downtown Arlington, Washington building. The new headquarters became a symbol of Coast’s diversification and allegiance to the community and still proudly serves as its headquarters.
