Why Coast

Same crews. Every state.Same quality. Every trade.

Owners do not hire a delivery method. They hire the people who show up. We put our own crews on the critical path, hold one standard from bare dirt through tenant finish, and carry that standard into every state we work in. Here is what that buys you.

Our capabilities

What you are actually hiring

Since 1965
Over sixty years

Decades of experience

Building for owners since 1965

Sixty years of commercial and industrial work, and most of what we build now is for owners who already hired us once. Long enough to have seen the problem your job is about to run into, and to still have the people on staff who solved it last time.

Same standard, every state
Wherever the job is

Nationwide reach

We travel, and the standard travels with us

Offices in Arlington, Washington and Lancaster, California, and crews who get on a plane. Over 5 million square feet of logistics space delivered across the country, and an owner in Georgia gets the same crews and the same person answering the phone as one down the road from us.

Our own crews, our own schedule
Who actually builds it

Self-perform crews

We do not subcontract the critical path

Concrete, steel, and the scopes that decide whether a job is on time stay in our own hands. When the work is ours, the schedule is ours. Nobody to wait on, nobody to blame, nobody standing between you and the person who poured it.

From raw site to finished suite
Whatever the job is

Full Builds and Retrofit

Raw dirt or an occupied building

A ground-up distribution center and a tenant improvement around a working tenant are not the same problem. Same crews, same standards, same phone number either way, so owners with more than one kind of building stop re-hiring every time the job type changes.

Why It Pays To Call Early

Six Reasons Owners Bring Us In Early

Involving us early remains the biggest key to a project’s success. Whichever route you take, these are the six places that decision shows up in your budget and your schedule.

Moving a wall on paper is free. Moving it in the field is a change order. Whichever method you choose, the savings live in the weeks before the drawings are finished. That is where we do our best work for you.

We price from live supply-line knowledge and current subcontractor capacity, not last year’s averages. The budget you carry to your lender or your board is one that holds up when we mobilize.

Long-lead equipment gets ordered while design finishes. Permits move in parallel. On Design Build and CMAR projects, that overlap is often the difference between opening this year and opening next.

Our superintendents read the drawings before they are stamped. Conflicts get solved by the design team instead of discovered by a crew standing in the building.

A complete bid package with real dates gets real pricing and properly staffed crews. Rushed packages get contingency, and you pay for it either way.

Each method places design, cost, and schedule risk somewhere different. We will show you exactly where it lands on your project before anyone signs anything.
