Arlington Veterinary Hospital

Located in the city of Arlington, this project consisted of a tenant improvement to an existing facility. Coast completed the Arlington Veterinary Hospital for Dr. Krystal Grant in January 2014. Coast performed the design-build which allowed Dr. Grant to stay within budget and operate her practice months sooner. This included expedited design, cost savings, and also permit acquisition assistance.

The 2700 SF clinic includes stained/polished concrete floors, custom tile floors, and a custom built reception counter which included material from the owner’s 19th century barn. The curved reception counter includes real stone and a granite counter top. Other features include a reception area, x-ray room, three exam rooms, triage, surgery, an ICU/recovery, laundry space, doctors’ offices, and installation of some of the latest treatment technologies. The project was started before Thanksgiving, built during the 2013 holiday season, and completed in just 10 weeks, all while staying within budget.

Dr. Krystal Grant has a passion for treating animals, both large and small. She is excited to serve the community of Arlington and its surrounding areas by providing a state-of-the-art facility for animal owners to care for their most trusted sidekicks. Dr. Grant lives locally on her family farm which has been shared by the family for over 80 years. Dr. Grant cherishes her loving husband, 2 horses, Bear and PJ, 2 goats, Baxter and Tahoma, 2 dogs, Sally and Paisley, and 3 cats, Peaches, Sherbert, and Stewart Littles. Dr. Grant has over 9 years of experience as a mixed animal veterinarian working with small companion and large farm animals. She strives to form bonds with her clients and their furry friends.
